    India to miss total lunar eclipse in 7 years

    Don’t miss this chance if you live in North-east India! The longest total lunar eclipse in the last seven years will occur on Tuesday(August 28, 2007) and people in parts of northeast India will manage to gaze at the eclipse only towards the end, The Hindu reported.

    Bamboo seeds are the new Viagra?

    Mizo people believe that nutrient-rich bamboo can tweak the fertility of rats. Now bamboo seeds are going straight from the jungle to the Mizo menu and even the bedroom!

    In Mizoram, bamboo seeds that appear after a riotous flowering of the tall grass every 50 years are considered a harbinger of famine or mautam in the state’s local language.
